Hey does Team Wildside fancy checking out the reopening of the Old Vic (ie Cabaret) this Friday (17th)? It used to be THE place for rock on a Friday night and I heard the DJ plays glam as well as all kinds of rock and metal When it closed.. basically the team who ran it opened up Spiders and thus Wildside was born, and it used to be my favourite Friday night place of choice   Whos with me? |

cant make it this week - once the other half locates a new job i'll certainly be up for it. i used ot love fridays at the vic / spiders. then again they did both serve vodka

That was pretty cool last night.
Its not a dedicated 'glam' club but definitely has a very old school feel about it.
Think we had Skid Row, Tyketto, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi and Motley Crue at least last night. The DJs cool for requesting bands but does play obvious tracks
Pretty well turned out too, but it may close anyway in a couple of months as the place is being sold
