Abso - bloody - lutely Last night kicked total ass. thanks for a really cool nite. As for my feelings - I fookin love the nite - i look forward to it all month and bore my colleagues silly with my incessant countdown (sad really). I think Al, that you have done a fantastic job of possibly the most difficult part of the night and that is balancing the music played. Sure there are tracks I dont particularly like, so what, i'll get another drink, but the vast majority RAWK. I will even be heading off to stock up on some bands id not heard of b4 i came down - thanks for the setlists. They are a cool idea - i always hated hearing a song that i loved, but could never find out what it was... Anyway, you may be surprised to hear that I'm glad Wildsides staying...(no really) Anything I can do to help in the future, let me know (seriously) O yeah, and for next month, I'm dragging another colleague down (less dull and boring than the last one honest - apologies to the lovely lady who tried to get him to dance earlier on...and thanks from me! ) Thanks for the request - I'll be handing most of mine over to Emma for next month i reckon.,.. Thanks again Al (I'll shut up now) ;D

Cheers Al, ya b*gger you. It was down to you that I had a hang over on Sunday and couldn't get out of bed until 12:00. Everytime I went to the bar, you put another good song on, trouble was, I had moved onto Vodka and thought it easier to down it instead of putting it somewhere. Don't know how many I had, but had a splitting headache the next morning. Had a fabby groovy time on Saturday, good mix of tunes. You finally played Unholy after your promise, and there was more than one person dancing....and you are the first DJ that I have heard to play Valley of Lost Souls. Went down really well, however I won't request it again for a little while. Danced to loads of stuff, had loads to drink, smiled all night and got harrassed by the double glazing salesman....sorry... the Kickback salesman, Bamf. My only gripe about the night is something that you can do nothing about, and that is the bar position in relation to the stairs and the DJ box/hovel. When there are lots of people, it is very difficult to get to/from the dancefloor as most people congregate around there. Does mean that you should stay near the dancefloor and dance more though. Oh, just remembered, don't play Bring your Daughter again. It is a complete B*stard to dance to without looking like a wally, but some would say it wasn't the song. See you at the next Wildside !!!!

haha! ;D
Thanks David! Yea Ive often thought why couldnt they have put the bar upstairs like on the far wall? And instead use that space for seating and tables or something. However they have made the best use of the available space that aside, if any of you remember when the Cookie club used to be there it was decidedly a hell of a lot smaller believe it or not!! However they did have a small bar upstairs that helped congestion. At the moment its currently housing all the expensive lighting equipement for upstairs seating!
As for the Maiden track... I was actually going to play Hallowed Be Thy Name, but when i looked at Edward The Great best of CD, the fuckers havent put that track on it!!!! Can you believe that??! Shocking! So Bring Your Daughter it was to be different for once, never mind!
I do apologise for not getting requests in sometimes. For some reason (usually due to alchohol) most people pluck up the courage to come and ask for tons of requests round about 1am, when I should be finish the night off with popular and fun tracks. Rare/unplayed/odd tracks and requests I need to do fairly near the start really, and if they catch on they will be moved further into the night for the next time. For instance the crowd from Sheffield were desperate to get their demo CD (Neon Bomb) played but didnt ask until later in the night.... so since they came all that way for the first time I obliged when normally I wouldnt because no offence to 'em it would prob clear the dancefloor. On the other hand people appreciate hearing something different and give to give them a break so the odd one or two's cool! Thankfully, altho i dont think many danced the Neon Bomb track was very good!
David... if Suzanne doesnt come online, could you pass on that I want to say THANKYOU very much for making the effort to come out when you were ill! I hope you are much better and had a good time despite illness. All the best, and you rawk!

Hey Al, it was a pleasure. Apart from the fact I want to support the night, I'd have been gutted to have missed it anyway. I'm have to be practically dying to stay away. I know I've said it a million times but I Wildside. S. x

Perhaps you'd arrive quicker if you drove with your eyes open?
Wildside is top.
Dr. Rock prescribes Wildside, to be taken monthly, with alcohol!
See ya May, and thanks again for the neon bomb track.
