Yes, it is off the new Robin Black album. It isn't cack, but is not as good as the first one. It has a brilliant cover of The Sweet's Hellraiser, and the 1st song, Why don't you Love me are the 2 high points. It isn't as sleazy or upbeat as the first album, but does get better the more you hear it. There are some lovely songs on it, but you just can't dance to the slow ones. Some brilliant mixing of vocals, especially on Seventeen, which has Starboy singing vocal with Robin Black. One thing I have just noticed from looking at Amazon in Canada is that the band has got 3 different members since the last album, so it is no wonder it sounds different. If you want to listen to the new RB album I'm sure it can be arranged for you to borrow it.  As for Lordi, we are hailing them as a Monster Horror Glam band as they aren't really heavy enough to be Metal, but are too heavy for traditional glam. I would say they are similar to WASP for sound and heaviness, so I would go for it. I will be dancing to Blood Red Sandman if you played it, put it that way. See you soon for more  @ Wildside |

The new RB album isn't cack at all. I really like it. Not quite as bouncy as the first, but still really good.
Anyway, yes, Lordi, I'd be on the dancefloor for that! Go on!
Other than that I'd like a Hanoi track. Motorvatin' would be nice.

Did I hit a nerve about Robin Black there?  lol Nah Ive not got or heard it, tho I know plenty of hardcore RB fans and theyve all been really disapointed. Ah well, if I can get a copy Dave I'll listen with objective ears  ta! Oh and Lordi went down very well at The Asylum with the Wildside crowd that turned up hitting the dancefloor for that one |

I don't think you did hit a nerve. David would agree that it's not the best album ever, but it's pretty damn good. I've not heard anything bad about it from other RB fans either, but I suppose everybody has different opinions. Anyway, yes, it's difficult to judge until you actually listen to it!
Good to hear Lordi went down well. Does this mean we'll get some on Sat?
