Hey all!
Just a little topic and discussion about the afterpartys ok!
1) Firstly, due to various valid reasons which I totally accept and agree with there won't be an after party this Saturday at my house. I am gutted about this to be honest, as it'll be the first one not to happen in like 3 years!! But circumstances prevent this from occuring and is not related to #2 the below paragraph. However that doesn't prevent something from happening elsewhere! Does anyone feel up to hosting it at their gaff? And maybe having some Swedish and Spanish glammies crash over? Either? Both? Whatever! Let me know ok!
2) Ok erk... its not cool and rock'n'roll to bring this up, but as much as I always enjoy them... the last couple of them shall we say - went a bit tits up! Mostly with 'randoms' turning up who we dont even fucking know and parties are becoming less fun! Remember back a bit it used be all us close friends plus a few band members and extra peeps maybe and that was all cool! With the "Wildside-ings", wrestling and debauchery that went with it! A few 'randoms' have kinda spoiled things especially with the chavs that followed peeps down and tried to get in the other month.
Chavs trying to gatecrash and fucking tools making an assess of themselves means that its time to say and do something about it.
So basically... I just want to keep this with just you guys! Who've always been at the parties from the start, and long supported the night etc and for us to have fun once again! I dont mind some extras coming down, especially if they're good friends of yours etc so lets keep this simple -
1) You will be invited, if you're not....
I've either been too busy and forgot, so come and ask me...
Or the house is going to be too crowded or I think its not cool to come back. There can be various reasons for the latter, so dont take personal offence, I have 2 other house mates to consider and if they dont know you then its just not fair.
2) If you've been invited and/or you're a regular and you want to bring some back with you - then ASK one of us and don't assume they can!
The bottom line is ASK dont ASSUME. If you find anyone else burbling on about after partys who you dont know or you think shouldnt be coming back come and speak to us.
3) I ask peeps to make more of an effort with mess to if poss, like chucking beer cans in the bin in the kitchen and cleaning up any spilt mess like kebabs and shit like that.
Oh and 4) NO DRUGS ok! At least not in the house, do them elsewhere, and if you act like an ass at the party whilst on them you'll be thrown out on your ass.
Hey, sorry to lay down rules, sound like an ass or spoil any fun but from who I've spoken to I think most are in agreement its got a little out of hand! If you're worried that you're not welcome or theres a problem just ask me ok? Its all cool.
Finally... I think I should appoint some after party guardians! I think Phil would make a good "Official Party Officer" with maybe Jamesy, Ryan and Lewis as his wingmen! What d'ya say? At least that makes it fair!
