Hi, Im from stoke-on-trent and finally should be getting my ass down to spiders in Jan. In a couple of weeks im down Nottingham for shopping, ive heard about London Boots and basically im after ... Some kewl boot buckles for cowboy boots and a kewl cowboy hat - snakeskin would be kewl. Places to get some 2nd hand out of print glam/sleaze/hard rock/aor on cd/vinyl. Places 2 treat my PS2 to some cheap second hand games. Also anywhere selling retro tshirt G n R , Skid Row etc.., Else im back to on-line shopping.. hello EBAY  Can anyone give me some tips which shops i should visit to get the above ? Cheers Rob  |

Hey Rob! Are you one of the Stoke crew that come down to Wildside with Mark and Tina? Anyways! London Boots is near the train station was awesome many years ago, tis where i got my biker boots from. Its not so good anymore as its more to do with cowboys and linedancing! But I think you should be able to find what you want there, but be warned it isnt cheap It can be found on the road to the train station past the Broadmarsh center. Shops to visit - CDs/Albums : Rock Heavy (in the West End Arcade) Bobs Record Mart (nearby, up a tiny alleway for old vinyl) Big House Records was best for glam CDs but it recently closed  Selectadisc Clothes : Ice 9 Void (both in Hockley) Rock Heavy (has some tshirts) Backlash (2nd hand clothing store) PS2 games : Game Station, in the market square ummm thats about it really! |

Cheers for all the info ;D I dont know Mark and Tina from stoke-on-trent, I should be going Nottingham with a friend who studied around these parts so she can help me find all the shops. All going well, me and a couple of friends are planning to make spiders every month. Our regular spot was the highway man (threpwood, nr cheadle), anyone remember this  If Mark and Tina read this then there is a weekly rock night (fridays) called 'Bolted' that has a classic Rock room. Its worth a visit about once a month in Newcastle under lyme - Zanzibar. |

Well I did visit Nottingham and managed to pick stuff up before the Christmas/Jan sale rush. Thanks for all the help. I also am able to get lift to Nottingham for Spiders but not back It really sucks that NO coaches or trains have any kind of schedule because its a Sunday. B&B is abit OTT for a night out too. |
