I like a drink. I'm sure there is much surprise at that statement, with me being a sober and respectable citizen.
I'm not saying I have to get totally pissed to enjoy myself (well, not always), but a drink helps. Drinking also makes me the best dancer in the entire world. I cling to this opinion and I'll thank nobody to shatter my illusions. Without a drink I just can't dance.
However this Saturday I shall not be drinking. I've given it up for a month partly to prove that I can and partly because my sister could give birth at any time and I'm the designated driver.
So..... will Wildside be as wild for me?
What about the rest of you drunken lot. Can you go clubbing without a drink or is it like pizza without cheese or a rock band without guitars?

I havent been drinking at Wildside since the first one i went to in February, cos I'm always drivin - sure i'll have a swift couple before 10, but then purely coke + water for me til i leave...
never really affects my enjoyment of a night out, especially when its as great as Wildeside, just there's precious little excuse for acting like a complete tit... ;D

I dont think Ive ever had a 'club' night out where I havent had at least one drink... I guess thats pretty sad!
But then the places I sometimes end up in like studen night at Rock City, or Obsessions (wank nu-mteal club) on a Monday you gotta drink to enjoy it! But then... if im in a great club night I wanna celebrate! meh

I however will be drinking on Saturday, but no where near as much as last time, and definately not vodka. Yes, I dance better after a drink, and I think I enjoy nights better after a few gulps of an alcoholic beverage, but at the last Wildside I had gone past the best dancer stage and was working on the best person able to stand up without swaying, and failed abysmally. As I have said in the past, it is all Al's fault for making me down Vodka to get to the dancefloor for a good song....b*stardo !!!!  |

It's quite a shocking thing for me, but the past few weeks I've been out and about without the aid of several beverages.
I'll probably be stone cold sober again on Saturday if this warm weather continues. Drink + heat = a very sickly Gothachu.

I've been to clubs, esp Wildside load of times and not been able to drink. Wilsdide is still cool becuase of the music, but it's always better if you can relax a little. It's not so much the not drinking I don't like, it's the prospect of a long drive home at the end of the night that does my nut in.
