OK you all should know by now that its Wildside's First Ever Birthday this Saturday, and we want to celebrate in style!

Not 100% confirmed yet but we will be having a special guest star DJ coming down to do a set!

I missed the first ever Wildside due to being drunk in a field in Wales. I'm going to miss the first birthday due to being.... well, drunk in a field in Wales. I detect a pattern here.

It's the yearly camping trip to celebrate a friends birthday I'm afraid, so I won't be there. Hope you all have fun *sob*.

Seriously though, there were times when I didn't think it would make a year and I'm so happy that it has, and is going from strength to strength. I know I've said it before, but Wildside really is the best damn club night ever.

Sorry you cant make it, but i know you'll have fun anyway! At least, its better than being at Download this year!!!

And yea, rock nights have their dips, ours was in the Xmas/New Year season with some bad timing and the managment got worried. All the nights there and rock nights in general have one night that doesnt do so well, and I think with the Dec/Jan ones because people travel from all over for the night, theyre less likely to around that time of year - its interesting how the night now has a rather large percentage of people who travel from outside Nottingham that come down!!

So anyway its with pride that our birthday approaches considering the last 2 have been packed out and theres lots of cool Wildside related stuff in the pipeline
